Chronique d’Atelier #6: More than a book, a painting odyssey

From idea to printed book, an intimate itinerary of a pictorial odyssey.

In this sixth Studio Chronicle I invite you to enter the intimate journey from thought to creation. Each work is born of a breath, an intuition, an inner line that eventually unfolds on canvas as a living presence. Between inspiration and demand, this passage from idea to gesture is at the heart of my artistic process.

This path was also embodied in my book Lignes en transhumancethe fruit of two years of passionate work and thirty years of painting. This 200-page work brings together over 200 reproductions and photographs, accompanied by previously unpublished texts from my Carnets Transhumances and the work of three collaborating authors: Éryx de la Clappe, Li Fu and Lyrcis.

Conceived as a work of art in its own right, this book reflects my narrative blues, my passionate reds and my calligraphic gesture. Each copy can be made unique with a personalized dedication or illumination, transforming the publishing object into a singular piece of art.

From thought to creation is a pictorial and human journey, an invitation to explore the intimate as well as the universal. Each stroke becomes an itinerary, each glance an extension of the work, bringing it to life.
